On Human Spirit……
Good and Bad

The supreme creator is all good. Therefore all creation is good. Therefore I am good. Therefore you, and all else, cannot be but good. Therefore the future will be good. Life can only get better if we will; if we accept goodness in us, in others and in all else.

From here in Cochin, I want to travel north to Kozhikode. By mistake I might board a bus bound for Trivandrum. I am not bad, the bus is not bad, the road is not bad. Trivandrum is not bad. What is bad is only my getting on board the wrong bus.

It is a greater bad if I do not leave the bus even after coming to know that I am heading in a direction different from where I have to go. It is an equally greater bad if I care not to know.

If my going to Kozhikode concerns only me, I do wrong against myself. If what I do touches upon the lives and needs of others, then I wrong others. In either case, I disobey or ignore the good sense the creator has placed in me, therefore my wrong is against the creator, against the universal progress towards better.

Never are my self and my actions cut off from the rest of the world, for I am but a link in a great web. Hence any wrong on my part is a wrong against myself, against all men, and against the creator.

It is like a football game where one can either play indifferently or play well.
